Workshop – Introduction to therm. Glass bottle separation

Introduction to glass bottle upcycling with a new do-it-yourself technique.

What happens when used glass doesn’t end up in the environment, but in your workshop? In this workshop, you will learn how to create unique objects from used glass using a new bottle separation method. We will show you the basics of thermal upcycling with our ReUp-BottleCutter and invite you to get active yourself – safely, simply, precisely, so that it’s fun!

• Intro: Why glass? Why upcycling? Circular economy, design potential, various upcycling techniques. Comparison of upcycling techniques for glass bottles
• The bottleneck principle: sustainability through technology + participation
• HANDS-ON: How does thermal cutting of glass work with our ReUp BottleCutter? Insight and practical practice with the ReUp Box from Botttleneck in teams of 2 (ReUp Box: complete setup with bottle cutting, mechanical and manual grinding for making your own upcycling products (e.g. lanterns, cups, vases)

From 16 years, only with registration – limited places!

Please bring: max. 10 used glass bottles per person, dry, round shape, preferably label-free (can only be separated there)
