Upcycling afternoon at the M.I.N.T – Green Classroom on Tempelhofer Feld

Take part in the upcycling afternoon at Tempelhofer Feld and transform old objects into new treasures! The creative upcycling activities are free of charge and open to everyone.

We invite you to an upcycling afternoon at Tempelhofer Feld! We will breathe new life into old objects and get active together. You can try your hand at various stands:

The M.I.N.T Green Classroom will help you to carve coat hooks, tonewoods, swords and walking sticks from maple wood.

Together with Bottleneck, we create high-quality DIY glasses and vases from used glass and learn more about glass as a resource.

Important notes: For the bottleneck offer, please bring a used glass bottle (no deposit or oil bottles, dry and straight).

With Taschengeldfirma e.V. you can build stylish upcycling bike boxes from offcuts of wood and screw them onto your bike.

At the felt workshop run by Campus Stadt Natur, the wool from the Tempelhofer Feld sheep is transformed into cute little objects.

The free open offer takes place on the Neukölln side of Tempelhofer Feld in the project area of the M.I.N.T. Green Classroom. Just drop by between 2 and 6 pm and explore our diverse upcycling offers!

Other: Please wear clothing suitable for the weather (rain or sun protection) and sturdy shoes. Food and drinks can be brought along and consumed on site. Tempelhofer Feld is very exposed to the wind and sun, but there will also be shade at the stands.

Provider: The M.I.N.T. – Green Classroom in cooperation with Campus Stadt Natur as well as Sarah Gohm/Bottleneck Project and Die Taschengeldfirma e.V. on behalf of Campus Stadt Natur.

Costs: free of charge

Target group: families, young people, adults

Registration and ticket: The offer is open and freely accessible and no ticket is required.
